And lastly, just a few fireworks...everyone have a wonderful Fourth of July. There were many that paid a price for our freedom, statesmen and soldiers alike. If you ever see a picture of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, note the somber faces. These men had a price tag put on their heads by doing this; they were marked men acorrding to King George III. They had no idea if any of them would survive or what would possibly happen to their families. Yet they were willing to take the chance. Let us never forget.

What adorable doggies! Great family photos, looks like a great time!
Here in Phoenix, there is supposed to be 100,000 people at the fireworks display tonight and the weather is supposed to be 106 degrees today. My daughter is here from Texas and is going and taking my other 2 kids and their friends but I'm not going to go: don't care for the heat or the crowds. I wish I lived in a smaller town where it isn't so hot on the 4th.
What an adorable family and fur babies. So glad everyone was having such a wonderful time! Ty for sharing.
Your family looks like they truly enjoy being together, and for that alone, as I'm sure that you already know, you are blessed.
The dogs are adorable together, and yes, that puppy name is perfect!
Your stitching continues to be extremely lovely, and I'm sure that your latest has become a treasured gift!
I love reading about your adventures, but it is good to have you home again!
A Happy 4th to you too!!
What wonderful photos of your family - thankyou for sharing :)
The doggie pics were just way too precious :)
The fireworks were pretty too - well done on capturing those memories!
Looks like a fun day! Lovely pics of your family
Thats a lovely fob you stitched
Love your exchange piece. Very pretty colors.
We rode up to the Blue Ridge Parkway yesterday (only 2.5 hours from Columbia) and the weather was absolutely wonderful. At the highest point. Richland Balsam Overlook, it was 64 degrees! We were in heaven. Glad you got to spend such a wonderful time with your family in such great weather.
Hey Carolyn! Love your holiday pictures! Had a great time in Raleigh last weekend! Happy stitching, Kathy
We too were inspired by the fireworks display here at Cherry Grove Beach. It makes you feel so patriotic and I always reflect back on why were are celebrating our freedom. Reading your blog made me feel even better about honoring the red, white and blue, family, friends and the true appreciation for all the fighting our men and women overseas are doing for us. Thanks for your words this morning! Be safe!
Nice exchange piece. The needlepoint is very pretty. The dogs are cute, I have the same size difference when Daisy (60lb) and Barry (4 lbs) get together. But Barry is afraid of NOTHING!! LOL The fireworks here is just a block away. I can't see them from home because of our tall trees and I was babysitting 1 month old Amberlyn, but they sounded great and the crowd roared when they were done, so I felt like I was there!
What a pretty fob!! Beautiful stitching on both sides!!!
Great pics of your family fun too!
Love the stitching!!! The dogs are sooooo cute! It sure looks like you had a great 4th of July!!!
Sounds like you had a lovely 4th! Kathy will be so pleased with her RR (yes, I was at the self same Kathy's this past weekend)!!!!
You have some really nice pics. The fireworks turned out lovely. Glad you had a good time with your family. We were just blessed with a long haired dachshund. She's a joy.
Great family photos. The ones of the doggies are adorable!
Love the family pics. Henry looks like a stuffed doll next to Montana, lol!! Pretty stitching.
Looks like you had a lot of fun. Love the doggie pictures.
The fob is very pretty. I like the color combination a lot.
Lots of fun I see in the pictures! And what a lovely family you have.
Edith
Oh, what a lovely family you have Carolyn and what fun photos! It looks like you all had a Ball on the 4th! I was working all weekend but did go over to Brandy and Nick's for a Barbecue after work on the 4th.
Montana has grown so much and I adore the wee puppy, Henry and I Love his name! I'll have to remember that one for a future cat since all my cats are named after literary figures or writers! ;)
And your stitching is lovely! Thanks for sharing with us!
{{{Hugs}}} and Blessings in stitches!
Montana looks JUST like Kasey did when I got her! She didn't get darker until she was almost 3 years old. I had to laugh about Montana's legs, because Kasey is the same way. There was an 8 week old Golden puppy at the dog park once and the girl put him down to play with Kasey. The first thing she did was hit him with a paw and send him rolling down the hill. He just waddled back, but she is such a big galoot with those feet!
Montana is getting to BIG!
What a wonderful time you all had! Sorry I'm so late in getting around to visiting your blog. I'm just now getting back to blogging myself.
Love the furbabies. The fireworks pictures turned out great.
