Nope, I don't mean basketball, even though I do live in ACC territory. I mean After Nashville's market. You know - the mad dash to see how much we can acquire and grab and stitch as fast as our hot little hands will allow us! I did partake...ahem, greatly...in this particular dash and it was sooo fun. Stitchingwise....
This is Lyne's RR before I started...
and after...
This was a really fun stitch - moved pretty quickly, too. Looks like I'm going to have to pull my own AAFG out and start on it again.
A little closer look at my part...
I've also been stitching on SB's Quaker's Heart. Pulled this out when I flew to my brother's in OK to visit. Really was able to stitch quite a bit on the planes; need to finish this up.
Went to a stitch-in last night with our Monday night stitching group - lots of fun. Decided to just take a NEW, quick, easy stitch, which didn't require much thought. You know how it is when you chat with friends. After three times stitching and frogging (the border -seriously, how hard can it be??!!), I called it a night. Sometimes you gotta know when it's a done deal...
But it was a blast, as always. Thanks, Kim, for lending your gorgeous house to us all. :)

The RR is looking great. I'm sure the receipent will be very pleased. I too have trouble putting needle to fabric while hanging out with friends sometimes. I usually try to save large areas of fill in areas in charts when I go to my stitch-ins.
How beautiful!
I have always loved "And a forest grew". It looks great. I am stitching hearts right now myself and its such fun. Hope you got lots of lovely stash. ; )

The RR looks great :) I find it impossible to chat and stitch which is why if I go to craft I take a no brainer for me (crochet)
Great Job!
You do great work!

Love the RR. Glad you had fun at the stitch in.
Quite a detailed project. I think I'd go cross-eyed! Good job!
Great stitching on AAFG! Wanna stitch on mine some too? lol.
Your stitching looks wonderful on the RR, Carolyn. And I'm so jealous that you have a stitching group...
OK....I'm like Carol.... All your stitching looks great and would love to be part of a regular stitching group~~ Cant wait to see your stash!~~
AWESOME!! love them, great stitching:-) hugs x
What a beautiful RR! And I love the Quaker Heart- that is one on my wish list! It looks great so far!
wow, that is so pretty!!!!! What an awesome piece for a RR. Great job!!!!
I love your RR, that's BAP! I usually have to take my knitting while chatting, there's a little less counting involved. Glad you enjoyed your visit with your brother. It's always nice to see family from far away.
What a pretty forest!! Very nice, looking forward to seeing your SB finish. Smiles.....
great stitching on AAFG / RR. This is such a beautiful piece. Someday I would like to stitch it for myself, maybe after I retire. Sounds like you had fun stitching with friends. I try to take something that I don't have to concentrate on when I do that, otherwise the frog followsme around. hee hee hee
Very nice stitching on the RR and the SB heart. Both pieces must be fun stitches.
Looking forward to seeing your new stash.
What a lovely RR! the stitch-in sounds fun.
Great progress
AAFG is looking beautiful! I'm not a sampler person, but this one has always called to me and I resist, resist... LOL
You did a wonderful job on the RR, I'll have to put some thought into what I send you! LOL Nice progress on the airplane piece too. Love taking a small piece and having it done by the time I get back. Makes the travel time seem less mundane.
What a cute analogy...the mad dash for the new stuff is like the mad dash to March madness!
Love your stitching...great job on the SB.
Lovely stitching.
Beautiful stitching Carolyn!
Hugs

Wow - you got a grove in your-own-self! Very pretty stitching! Great Q heart! Down one, over two, Seriously - it can be some of the toughest; right?
The RR is very pretty also your heart.

You did nice work on that RR. I can see I am not the only one who can't keep track of my stitches and talk at the same time.LOL
Love your exchanges.
Beautiful stitching Carolyn :-) the RR is lovely.
The RR looks great and your SB's Quaker's Heart is looking lovely.
Oh that RR is simply gorgeous! Your SB is lovely too.
I so hear you about that mad dash. LOL I happened to pick up a few myself. LOL
And after seeing your AAFG I think I'm putting that on my list. Beautiful work.
Some lovely stitching Carolyn & the RR is coming along nicely.
Nice stitching, Carolyn. Too funny about the stitching, frogging, stitching, frogging. At least you had a great time :)
Your RR is very pretty. Love all of the colors. Sorry to hear about all of the frogging.
Great work on Lyne's RR, Carolyn! And it always seems like visiting takes priority over stitching at get-togethers. I'm still surprised that we got stitching in AND finishing done at Jubilee!
Great stitching as usual. I really like the RR.
Great job with the RR and your SB piece looks great as well.
Wow insane amount of progress on your forest!
